OverviewReporting to the Group HR Director, you will propose and implement the strategies, priorities and standards for managing cluster HR Benefits and Wellness (B&W) program. The incumbent will also ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the cluster employee benefits policies.You will act as the governor and executor of HR Benefits Policy and an advisor of NUHS B&W programs. As a team lead, the incumbent will provide supervision and coaching to the junior B&W team members and lead and manage HR projects in collaboration with other HR functions where required.Job ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the following:
  • Lead the Benefits and Wellness (B&W) strategies to organize and execute quality programs and initiatives in alignment with the HR workplans;
  • Manage cluster's benefits, including corporate passes and staycation;
  • Represent cluster in cross-cluster/MOH workgroups on benefits and wellness matters as well as policy administration. Coordinate cluster submission and communicate the relevant information to the institutions as needed for implementation;
  • Represent cluster to partner with other clusters and union in CA negotiation, discussions and renewal related matters;
  • Provide advice and solutions to address issues relating to B&W faced by HR;
  • Ensure consistent HR processes and policies that support the business and complies with local regulations and Group requirements;
  • Provide supervision to junior team members on operational matters and issues, coaching them to become independent and credible COE partners;
  • Manage and lead other projects where assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR working experience in large organizations particularly in project coordination works. Experience in the healthcare sector, while not a pre-requisite, will be an added advantage.
  • Proven people management experience with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, particularly in written communications.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast changing environment and work under tight timelines.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Powerpoint tools for data analysis, building charts, etc.
  • Good numerical sense with analytical skills, meticulous and a strong problem-solver.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill
