Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager

Role and Responsibility

• Manage materials required for works are Inspected & Delivered according to required specs, required Quantity and required Quality
• Manage the QA team, handling, storage and handover process of such materials
• Establishing the contract requirements for both materials and works
• Reviewing and updating the project quality plan
• Manage the inspection and test plans to comply with the contract requirements
• Training supervisors in the use of the inspection and test plans and Inspecting works and recording all inspections to ensure compliance as required
• Manage quarantine rejects and non-conformance
• Manage inspections, test plans, reports and processes to ensure compliance
• Ability to manage and ensure handover of completed QA processes to Gates PCM Management
• Manage Project in setting up and document control
• Works will involve Day & Night shift operations

Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronics) in construction firm.
• At least 8 years working experience in the related field
• Preferably managers specializing in quality Assurance/Control, Engineering- Structural/Civil/Construction/ equivalent
• Familiar with ISO standard for ISO 9000, 14000, and18000
• Good business acumen and able to evaluate business needs
• Good communication, presentation and inter personal skills
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadline
• Rail experience would be an advantage
