Role Title

The role of the Implementation VP involves leading and overseeing portfolio manager integrations onto the platform in the APAC region. They are also responsible for project management of various tasks within the onboarding space. This VP will be main point of contact for the handling of KYC requests from street side prime brokers, execution brokers and relevant third-party relationships. This role can be based out of Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • New Portfolio Managers/Migrations/Fund launches
  • Onboarding and coordinating with all relevant teams to ensure internal workflows meet PM requirements
  • Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project will meet internal timelines
  • Actively participate in departmental and companywide-projects, and process improvement initiatives

KYC:

  • Large component of the role and in-depth knowledge of Investment Manager and Fund structure is a must
  • Quarterly KYC refresh reviews with external counterparties
  • Execution broker account opening projects
  • Lead weekly legal and compliance priority calls

Desired background:

  • You have a related degree or related professional requirement
  • 10+ years in the financial services industry
  • 5+ years of project management experience within the financial services/asset management industry
  • Ability to handle several projects and different stakeholders simultaneously, and prioritize works based on deadlines
  • Operations experience is an asset
