Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Network Revenue Management (NRM) department, Marketing Planning division of SIA. He/she will responsible for utilising revenue management tools, reports and good work processes to maximize network revenue whilst minimizing spoilage and offloads on the flights under his/her control.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be part of the Network Revenue Management (NRM) department, Marketing Planning division of SIA. He/she will responsible for utilising revenue management tools, reports and good work processes to maximize network revenue whilst minimizing spoilage and offloads on the flights under his/her control.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of overbooking on SQ flights to minimize both spoilage and offloads through Revenue Management (RM) optimizer parameters.
- Timely review of peak flights for parameter adjustment and monitoring of current/historical booking trends and adjust parameters.
- Timely review and adjustment/update of Altea Inventory controls or strategies to manage seasonality, especially peak periods.
- Regular review and analysis of booking data, fare, availability, and trends to improve flight management and forecast.
- Review booking confirmation requests applying both revenue and servicing considerations.
- Proactive communications with Stations for planning purposes to ensure uplift and revenue goals are aligned.
- Pre-emptive management of overbooked flights managed in coordination with stations to minimize complaints and disruptions
- Diploma in any discipline.
- Experience in airline reservations processes, revenue management, and/or networks and schedules will be advantageous.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills for extensive interactions with the stakeholders.
- A self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement.
- An effective team player, able to guide and mentor within a team, and be able to work well with colleagues across the company.
