The Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the retail landscape and make an impact on the success of the business. The candidate will be work closely with our retail leadership, commercial, supply partners, and logistics team to ensure that our customers have improved on shelf availability, as well as utilizing analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement and report on key performance indicators to help guide decision making. The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to accurately predict product demand
  • Effectively build the promotion uplifts and manage trend, and seasonality with respect to the DFI Banner stores
  • Collaborate with commercial, category and vendors to ensure the timely availability of products
  • Create the supply planning in collaboration with the supply partner and monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment orders as needed
  • Analyze data and use it to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and demand forecasts
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as fill rate and inventory accuracy
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, and/or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supply chain/demand planning role
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory management skills, systems knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI or Data Query/Analytics
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
