- Responsibility for laboratory organization, including but not limited to ensuring labs are clean and organized, communal stock administration, oversight of cold storage units and lab access procedures.
- Maintain and organize inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies using our in house systems and databases
- Assisting with coordinating of laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance and keeping records up to date.
- Hosting internal and external contractors during visits to the laboratories.
- Track, order, and receive lab reagents and disposables such as chemicals, enzymes, buffers, pipette tips, reagent tubes, etc
- Handling Environment, Health & Safety (e.g. point-of-contact for the EH&S team and Risk Assessments, safety inspections) and Facilities (e.g. equipment moves, space planning) related tasks
- Understanding Core R&D processes, assays and systems sufficiently to support calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and lab spaces utilized by scientists.
- As applicable: assist specialist labs with their needs in order to maintain functionality and support the day-to-day operations.
- Provide ad-hoc support to others within lab management team
- Collaborate with other departments on cross functional projects
- Experience working in or supervising a wet lab or equivalent containing standard equipment (liquid handling robots, safety cabinets, compressed gases, chemical handling and disposal, centrifuges, PCR machines, etc.).
- Experience with, or ability to learn, microbiological containment level requirements, to CL2.Organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills
- Experience working with a Quality Management System

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or a Science Diploma with 3 years of relevant or equivalent work experience in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, Surface Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genomics, Genetics, or a related discipline).
- Having considerable direct work experience with working directly with Scientists is a plus
- Strong communication skills for regular interactions with Core R&D lab teams and other teams & departments
