  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the implementation and maintenance of the quality system by carrying out surveillances and random checks
  • Review the effectiveness of the existing work procedures and quality system so as to ensure quality control is conducted efficiently and effectively in a consistent manner
  • Monitor quality reports and other paperwork to ensure that all relevant project quality records are properly controlled and maintained
  • Identify quality related problems and monitor the status of non-conformance and propose solutions / corrective actions where appropriate
  • Provide weekly QAQC report to Project Director with recommendation for improvement
  • Oversee the CONQUAS applicable to selected projects
  • Oversee the Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS) implementation and external audit
  • Oversee ISO management system implementation, maintenance and internal & external audit
  • Participate and involve in the Environment, Green and Caring activities
  • Work with Project team to supervise subcontractor’s work
  • Value-add to project operation, for instance, to comment on construction Method of Statement

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role in the construction industry with proven track record and relevant achievements
  • Familiar in conducting quality audits and surveillances; and proficient in the concepts of construction productivity, sustainability and QAQC
  • Familiar with statutory requirements and standards of quality management system in construction industry
  • Keen interest in the area of digitalization and innovation
  • Possess Auditor Trainings in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 and well-versed in QAQC management procedure
  • Excellent communication skill and ability to lead a team of QAQC Engineers
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment and work with all levels of professionals in a diverse cultural environment
  • Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
  • Candidates who possess experience in building and construction industry will have an added advantage
