Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end execution of international trade transactions, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and oversee trade documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate logistics and shipping, working with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Identify and mitigate trade-related risks, including currency fluctuations, geopolitical issues, and transportation challenges.
  • Manage letters of credit and ensure timely settlement of trade transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with international trade regulations, sanctions, and compliance requirements.
  • Define and negotiate Incoterms for each transaction, ensuring clear responsibilities.
  • Oversee quality control measures to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Address and resolve trade-related discrepancies, disputes, or delays.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in international trade or logistics are a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in trade operations, international logistics, or a related field. Experience with trade finance instruments is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, documentation, and logistics processes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling trade documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to changing regulations and market conditions.
  • A collaborative team player with proficiency in technology and trade management systems.
