Assistant Project Manager
Job Scope:
-Assist project manager in monitoring the project progressive to meet contractual requirements and taking care of project claims details.
-Assist to manage project schedules and manhour cost,etc.
-Ensure all changes to project specifications and scope are properly documented for final accounts.
-Coordinate with internal and external site supervisors on various project updates and requirements.
-Monitor inventory levels to determine the need for materials procurement for the projects required.
-Build and maintain good working relationships with clients through phone calls, emails or text messaging to ensure good prospects for future business.
-Provide timely reports and updates to the management on project status and key developments. Communicate and cooperate with the management in documentation support.
-Assist with employee’s exit process and in all appointed interviews.
Requirements:
-Degree or Diploma or Professional Certificate or its equivalent.
-Prior experience in piping, fabrication and process engineering is a bonus point.
-Safety knowledge and WSQ certificates in hand is an added advantage.
-Able to communicate effectively at all levels with strong technical abilities, interpersonal skills and negotiation power.
-Proven expertise in sales and negotiation, with the ability to build trust and secure deals.
-Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Teams,etc.
-Possession of a driving license is an advantage as well.
