Our Business & Sales Operation (BSO) team is part of the Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team. We play an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible.

Our team drives cross-Region, cross-Area and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.

We are seeking a Business Program Manager (BPM) to join our high-impact team and help refine, optimize, and govern critical business processes that fuel the success of Microsoft Asia.

As part of the Business & Sales Operations (BSO) organization, our team drives strategic investments, operational excellence, and innovation across Asia.

We lead key processes and programs on Marketing Operations, Investment, and Resource Management to enable data-driven decisions, scalability and efficiency , and sustainable growth

Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization & Governance
  • Refine, enhance, and optimize key processes for Marketing budget management, investment governance, Employee Data Management (EDM) and Blueprint.
  • Establish and maintain frameworks to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with corporate policies.
  • Continuously evaluate processes for improvement opportunities to drive operational excellence.
  • Investment Management & Analytics
  • Partner with Finance, CMO, GTM and other Business Teams to ensure investments are aligned with strategic priorities (AI, Copilot adoption, Security, M365).
  • Develop and implement data-driven approaches to guide investment decisions and capture key learnings.
  • Enhance data quality and governance practices, ensuring accurate reporting and insightful analytics.
  • Automation Enablement
  • Lead the design and deployment of automated tools (e.g., Budget Management Tools, Trend/Exception Management dashboards, Marketing Spend BI Automation).
  • Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to identify new automation opportunities and improve existing solutions.
  • Drive adoption of AI and Copilot solutions across investment, marketing, and resource management processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners, expanding our partner network to accelerate growth.
  • Facilitate effective communication across Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
  • Champion user adoption, training, and change management for new tools, processes, and systems.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving within the team.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify areas where AI and automation can enhance business impact.
  • Support personal and professional development of team members, fostering a learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management, business operations, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ambitious self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and effectively manages priorities.
  • Confident in presenting to senior leaders, influencing decision-making and advocating positions
