- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 6 years proven experience in event management preferably within the education, higher education, educational administration and programs industries.
- Leadership experience, with at least 3 years experience leading a team of 5 direct reports and developing a team to ensure high performance.
- Strong experience in end to end event management, particularly within the education sector, including workshops, training, development programmes.
- Experience managing larger scale events with up to 200-300 participants and in contract negotiation with vendors and hotels.
- Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion and strong interest in the APAC international education industry
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining cross-functional relationships, with the ability to lead through influence.
