- Ensure strong operational and technology risk controls, conducting risk assessments, reviewing operational loss investigations, and supervising business continuity planning (BCP).
- Maintain compliance with MAS guidelines, ensuring risk policies meet industry standards and conducting regular updates.
- Lead and guide risk management staff, ensuring proper training and development to uphold high standards of risk governance.
- Act as a key representative in various risk committees and stakeholder meetings, providing critical risk insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Drive a risk-aware culture within the organization, embedding risk management best practices across all business units.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on credit risk and liquidity risk within a bank or financial institution.
- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies, stress testing, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and drive risk initiatives effectively.
- Adaptable and hands-on approach, capable of working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
