Job Description:
- To assist the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein
- To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures and safe work procedures to control & mitigate such risks to prevent incident occurrences
- To assist in implementing & reviewing such measures or safe work procedures to prevent workplace accidents
- To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence
- To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety, health and environmental matters
- To administer and implement an effective Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) in accordance with prevailing legislation and preparation for third-party external EHS audits
- Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per requirements
- Making certain that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with the governing laws
- To prepare and conduct the EHS trainings for all employees which are identified in RA and SWP
- Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WSH committee meetings and recommend areas for improvement
- Perform ECO duties as assigned
- Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Specialist Diploma in WSH and/health (WSH)-related and certificate in ECO
- At least 3 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSHO cum ECO
- MOM registered WSH Officer and NEA registered ECO.
