- Manage and oversee the overall budget expenditure and headcount within the department.
- Develop and implement programs aimed at improving cost-effectiveness, safety, and manufacturing standards.
- Ensure the department maintains a safe and healthy work environment through regular checks and inspections.
- Lead efforts to reduce and close Engineering Change Requests (ECR), conducting regular reviews and inspections.
- Ensure all production processes comply with the company's MS Control systems, policies, SOPs, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular meetings and checks to ensure alignment with QESH MS and ISO standards.
- Plan and monitor production material requirements to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop production schedules, ensuring that production targets for output and timing are met.
- Liaise with external vendors, HQ staff, and other departments to coordinate resources and support for daily operations and project execution.
- Lead staff development, including training and coaching, to ensure team members are highly skilled and competent in their roles.
- Possess Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
- Experience in managing a team of 80 to 100 members.
- Has handled or been involved in ISO certification processes
- Strong working knowledge of chemical plant management
- Familiar with ESH regulations
