The Role:
You will be responsible for managing and growing sales in APAC. This position will report directly to the senior leadership and work closely with teams in India, China and Japan. There is an established impressive client base that will be part of your portfolio to grow.
The role drives the business's growth by identifying new opportunities in direct end-user, consultant, and specifier channels. It will also involve becoming a trusted adviser to existing clients and communicating technology innovations developed in-house.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a business development plan to grow business in APAC.
- Work closely with the consultant and specifier community to ensure inclusion on security tenders beyond its existing global clients
- Identify new customers for services based on its extensive cross-vertical experience.
- Manage the sales forecasting process
- Help identify new geographical territories for expansion
- Work closely with technology partners to ensure that business opportunities are maximised
The Person
- 15+ years of experience in the security industry.
- 5 years in a team management role
- Proven record of driving international sales growth
- Experienced in building an international team
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Preferred location – Major city in APAC e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, KL, Bangkok, Shanghai
- Able to travel internationally up to 25% of the time to client sites and industry events
