We are seeking a skilled and driven Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge software solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Information Systems;
  • At least 3 years of experience in C# .NET Development, design, implementation, and quality assurance;
  • Proficient in using DotNet (WPF, Winform, ASP.NetCore Web API/APP), C#, Microservices, XML, SOAP, RESTful APIs;
  • Proficient in managing system interfaces for external systems and application integration, including hardware interfaces;
  • Familiarity with tools like SonarQube for code quality monitoring;
  • Hands-on experience with Milestone VMS and MIP SDK;
  • Good understanding open-source media players i.e. VLC Player, OpenCV and Linux/Windows OS shell scripting;
  • Understanding of SOAP, Webservices, and API versioning strategies;
  • Good knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Net technologies and tools;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Prior experience in video management systems or a similar domain.

Responsibilities

  • Part of the application team to design and develop software integrations with Video Management Systems (VMS) using Microsoft (.NET) technologies;
  • Responsible to gather and collect user requirements and document for overall software design;
  • Build rapport with customers to understand their pain-points and business needs;
  • Work collaboratively with team members for system and module integration and testing within project milestones;
  • Responsible for training and supporting end-users on the software implementation and delivery;
  • Provide documentation & manuals for all phases of project lifecycle from requirements, design, operation, testing and post support.
