We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the development, design, and implementation of electric mobility infrastructure. This role will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the successful deployment and scaling of electric mobility solutions to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor and collaborate with a team of engineers across multiple disciplines, including hardware, software, electrical, and systems engineering.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the engineering team.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and career development support to team members.

Product Development

  • Oversee the design and development of electric mobility solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and refine product specifications.
  • Drive the implementation of innovative solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Project Management

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, business development, regulatory compliance) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise during development or deployment.

Technical Expertise & Innovation

  • Provide deep technical expertise in the electric mobility domain, including hardware design, network infrastructure, software integration, and electrical systems.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in electric mobility technology, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with grid integration, renewable energy solutions, and smart charging technologies.

Quality & Safety

  • Ensure all products comply with relevant safety standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to ensure product reliability and performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Communicate technical progress and challenges effectively to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, with a proven track record in leading teams and managing complex engineering projects.
  • Experience in the electric mobility industry or infrastructure is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, network communications, software development, and hardware design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory (ie. TR25, etc) and safety standards for electric mobility solutions.
  • PMP or other project management certifications is an advantage.
