As a Porter, you will be tasked to:
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries and account for incoming deliveries (food items, operating supplies) based on invoice and receiving reports
- Sort items received by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate departments.
- Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
- Reconcile invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
- Receive, store, and deliver incoming and outgoing department food orders
- Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of delivered items.
- Communicate with management team regarding any loss or damage with items
