Senior Human Resources Generalist (Regional)
We are seeking for a self-motivated and dynamic HR Generalist (APAC Regional Role) to join our HR Team in Singapore Regional Headquarter. Key Responsibilities: (covering Asia Pacific (APAC) regional exposure & network)
Onboarding & Exit Management
- Full cycle of employee onboarding and off-boarding processes.
- Manage new hire’s probation performance review.
- Prepare letters for new employment, confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation and termination.
- Coordinate the orientation & exit procedure.
Payroll & Benefits Management
- Liaise with respective payroll vendors across APAC to drive payroll processing, validate payroll entries & reports, income tax, statutory contributions.
- Responsible for statutory government’s paid leave claims, e.g. : NS pay, paternity, maternity and childcare leave .
- Responsible for employee’s benefits enrolment & management throughout the employee’s entire lifecycle with the Company.
- Manage enquiries pertaining to employee benefits including leave, medical, group insurance etc.
- Working closely with Insurer’s representative for insurance claims resolution/ queries.
- Administer long service awards & certification presentation.
HRIS, HR Reporting & Statutory Survey
- Ensure all required information and employee data are accurately maintained and updated promptly in HRIS Success Factor, payroll systems and employee personnel database.
- Responsible for monthly HR statistics & analytics reports for Senior Management.
- Compile, track, consolidate, and analyse HR data for reporting to government agencies and stakeholders.
HR Support & Employee Engagement
- Ensure company HR policies, practices and programs comply with local employment laws and provide clear interpretations to employees and managers.
- Support employee relations and act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Support the handling of employee relations matters including conflicts, complaints, grievances, performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate and support the successful deployment of HR initiatives and projects to improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- University Degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree) in Human Resources Administration, Social Sciences, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Candidate who can start work immediately or short notice will be preferable.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR Generalist/ Operations, payroll processing, employee relations and HR administration for ASEAN countries
- IT savvy, familiar with HRIS Success Factors, experience in using commercial HR software.
- Payroll processing and management are essential for this role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferably with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and extensive use of Pivot Table and VLOOKUP for preparation of various HR metric reports.
Requirements
- Knowledge of employment law and taxation across ASEAN/ Asia Pacific.
- Good understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Regional HR operation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust at all levels of the organization.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for process improvement and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to research, plan and implement significant human resources initiatives.
- Ability to embrace change, multi-task and work proactively.
Reporting Line :
- As a key member of the Singapore HR team and reporting directly to the Regional HR Manager, APAC Commercial.
