- Act as role model to team members and adhere to all company policies/ guidelines
- Lead the team to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality and goal accomplishment.
- Coach, mentor and develop staffs, including overseeing new staff onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- To always comply with internal rules and guidelines as well as external laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to proper conduct of banking business.
- To undertake any other matters instructed by Management.
- Liaise and collaborate with the Tokyo Head Office and other internal stakeholders within the bank across regions, head office, business units, to ensure cohesive strategy development and execution.
- Min 10 years in business strategy and business planning in Japanese corporate banking business
- Minimum JLPT N1 Certification, a degree from a Japanese university or equivalent required to effectively communicate with Japanese stakeholders and senior management in Tokyo Head Office on strategy and business plan matters where primary business communication is in Japanese.
- Experience in leading a team in business strategy and business planning in financial sector.
- Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively and courteously with others using Japanese.
- Ability to adapt organization change and demands of different stakeholders.
- Well organized and efficient time management
- Understand banking regulatory environment with particular focus on the local regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
