We are looking for two IT Support Analysts ( HC- 2), who will be the eyes and ears of the IT system at client's side. You ensure the availability and performance of the infrastructures, equipment, software and processes supporting the data. To anticipate anomalies, batch delays, FileSystem problems, etc.

Role:

  • To monitor the end-of-day batch and ensure that it starts on the prescribed time, perform first-level analysis if there failure, perform recovery ,and involve other stakeholders when necessary.
  • To constantly monitor the alerts from the monitoring tool that tells whether an application, server, website, service, disk space or other system resources are having issues and inform the support persons if necessary.
  • To handle user requests such as running of one time job, scheduling of new job, copying and resending of file, troubleshooting transactional problem and involving other experts if necessary.
  • To support the regular third party system upgrade and patches and minimize any disruption
  • To support awareness and readiness of the disaster recovery plans to ensure continuous operation and minimize disruption in case of disaster.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting Failed jobs and file system full issues
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and take them up to the client team with a mitigation plan.
  • Business Process Management (BCP)

Technical Skillset

Must have skillset:

  • Someone with a minimum of 2 plus years of experience working on production support roles / IT Operator roles / Support analyst roles.
  • Exposure to batch Processing is highly preferred
  • Very Good knowledge of Unix Scripts & Shell Scripting.
  • Knowledge in ticketing tools Jira & HP Quality Center
  • Proven experience with monitoring and evaluating system performance and performing tuning functions to achieve optimal system efficiency.

Good to have skillset:

  • Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with the Master Domain Manager.
  • Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with FTA Unlinks
  • Good to have knowledge in TWS (Tivoli Dynamic Works Console) to create a New Plan, and reverse knowledge to scratch a plan analysis, TWS administration experience with its functions to Plan, Install, Configure, Upgrade, Maintain and Troubleshoot failures.
  • Process Documentation and Process Analysis
  • Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling
