- Lead a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications.
- Manage and oversee end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of medium to high complexity.
- Direct and controls all program and project work performed, monitor the progress versus project milestone. Reports and escalates progress/issues to management, as needed.
- Assist in developing detailed project plans and schedules projects, including goals, risks and resource allocation. Monitors project results for significant deviations.
- A consistent ability to deliver within deadlines, even under challenging circumstances while managing client expectations.

- Liaise with other IT Teams like Infra, Security, Network Teams for project related tasks and activities.
- Perform project financial control with close follow-up on vendor invoice, payment done/due/pending.
- Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
- Run regular project steer committee and project working committee meetings to update stakeholders on project status.
- Manages communication with the business at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues.
- Plan and manage project execution phase including SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal, Go-Live Rollout and Post Implementation period.
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent
- Should have a minimum of 12 years of technology experience with hands-on technical roles and 8 years of project/program management.
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts, stakeholder management from business, compliance etc
- Strong communication skills & ability to prepare & validate business requirements. understands the capital markets businesses; identifies and understands the needs and objectives of requirements, both on an individual and corporate basis; builds strong relationships to aid aim of being a trusted partner to the users.
- Previous experience in banking related project implementations, configurations, development, software quality or testing or Strong Java development experience.
- Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and willing to improvise as per the situation demands.
- Has strong project management skills but deploys a flexible approach to meet the needs of a broad group of diverse stakeholders
- Balances analytical and creative abilities, innovative, thinks business first but quickly grasps and can be conversant in digital technologies and their application to business processes
- Proven capability to develop / adapt Process improvement and Process Transformation approaches and methods, and to lead and train others on the approaches and methods.
- Experience in Cloud implementation specially AWS will be an added advantage
