Key Position Accountabilities:
- Oversee the day to day management of the Driver(s) ensuring objectives are met and the team are operating to an effective level to deliver optimum quality, performance and cost effectiveness.
- Monitor the assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to minimize stock damage to stock, increase inbound, outbound and dispatch efficiency and improve overall results.
- Coordinate with Commercial and Finance Department and deliver against daily invoicing activities
- Support in all activities related to the preparation and management of warehouse budgets, plant operations, quality control, safety, environmental and personnel utilization.
- Implement and monitor operational reporting procedures to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to the existing logistics & warehouse procedures and working practices as required.
- Communicate the Inventory, Pending Orders, Delivery and Invoicing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the Global Commercial Director to ensure alignment of Logistics & Invoicing operations with the AMV strategy and objectives.
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded and briefing/communicating with Supervisors & other Managers ( Account Supervisors, Purchasing Manager) regularly on planning current and future capacity requirements.
- To ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), Ethics & Compliance and Food Safety (if applicable) policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Snr Account Supervisor and/or the Global Commercial Director.
- Education, Experience, Training and Special Skills:
- Educated to a minimum standard equivalent to Bachelor Degree level in Operations Management or Supply Chain related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position with demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
- At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics & order invoicing operations with a sound knowledge of administration, warehouse, and transportation
- Comfortable working in a fast paced logistics environment with proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent interpersonal skills with previous experience working in a diverse and multicultural work environment
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to speak, read and write English fluently
- Experienced MS Office user in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook
- Capable of working to tight and competing deadlines while meeting client expectations.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
