To assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations and data entry for Day Surgery-type registration and provide patient services in the Specialist Outpatient Clinic.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * SPECIFICDay Surgery Registration1. Attend to Day Surgery registration and tagging of appropriate billing scheme for Eye, ENT and Urology Clinic.2. Ensure and maintain confidentially of patient's information.3. Dispatch the Day Surgery documents to Business OfficeOperational (Backroom)1. Ensure 5S of the SOC back office is observed at all times.2. Ordering of stationaries for SOC Backroom3 Dispatch daily counter closing report to the YH mailroom.4. Assist the Supervisor in planning the necessary deployment of PSAs; inclusive of plotting of daily manpower deployment board.5.Weekly tracking of dropped E-referral cases from SCM and inform respective clinic counter PSAs to follow up with appointment booking for these cases.6. Be accountable for the cash float monies and its safekeeping in the SOC backroom:7. Be accountable for the daily AETOS break cash and exchange as needed.8. Be responsible in replying email enquiries from the Business Office team with regards to MCPS and Medifund/MAF issues.9. Be responsible in assisting Counter PSAs with ad hoc enquiries, troubleshooting and case escalation.10. Reconciliation of Daily Walkaway Report and Cancellation Report Monthly for audit purposes. Daily Walkawaydenotes scenarios where patients are billed post visit and allowed to make E-payment or mobile payment.11. Preparation of punch cards for counter PSAs each month.12. Filing of PSAs confidential documents (P-files) and training forms.13. Accountable for any administrative ad hoc tasks requests. Ensue proper use and maintenance of backroom equipment/machines, Report to the appropriate authority for services if the equipment/machine is faulty.Operational (Counter)1. Ensure service readiness of the clinic at all times.2. Assist patient with registration, billing, collection of payment and appointment scheduling.3. Be accountable for the cash float, counter collections and its safekeeping.4. Reconcile all payment transactions for the day.Facilities1. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the workstation and reception counters.2. Maintain high standards of infection control.

  • Assist the Operation Manager in guiding and coaching of new staff.
  • Liaison point for administrative related matters (e.g, distribution of welfare items, brochures, collation of manpower data)
  • Participate in initiating and implementing change to improve the quality of care and work processes in the unit.
  • Assist in evaluating effectiveness of new work processes and to communicate outcome to Supervisor.
  • Attend continuing education and training on regular basis to maintain one's competency.
  • Embrace continuous improvement as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
