Our client has revolutionized the capabilities of traditional power grid assets through the provision of cutting-edge patented technology. The company is a leading provider of power grid monitoring solutions, allowing electrical utilities (Transmission and Distribution) to optimize the use of their assets.

Backed by private-equity investors, it has grown in the US and Europe and provides grid monitoring solutions across the US and in many European countries. Now the focus is upon establishing its presence in Asia and Australia.

We're looking for someone to initiate their Asia sales across South East Asia and Australia, leading business development activity and playing a visible role at industry events and conferences.

It's likely that you'll have a degree in Power Systems or Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree.

From a sales and business development perspective, you must have at least five years' experience in selling Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) or Grid Enhancement Technologies (GET) or High Voltage Technologies to electricity transmission and distribution utilities.

Our expectations are realistic. We're used to driving results in long sales cycle environments, so your background should be solid, with appropriate persistence and resilience to build relationships effectively over time.

You'll have high levels of transparency and honesty and a straightforward communication style. Certainly you will have gravitas, with the ability to interact and impact at high-level with customers.

You must be fluent in English. That's our working language; other languages are a plus. You'll definitely be culturally diverse and prepared to travel extensively.
