Our department is growing and we are looking for a bilingual person who enjoys a fast-paced, professional, and dynamic work environment.Job DescriptionLogistics specialist in APAC is supporting the transportation operation to regional logistics of Customer's Supply Chain.Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Primary point of liaison with client to manage day to day process, operational and escalation from client's APJC partners
  • Client's transportation EDI process subject matter expert (SME) point of escalation.
  • Liaise with Client's Customer Presentative Service for final delivery arrangement, invoice, closing order.
  • Analyze, brainstorm and create solution on transportation damage ratio control.
  • Prepare and set up strategy to improve partners' efficiency.
  • Design and implement automate reporting system.
  • Support Quarter end, restructure flight plan based on client's revenue cut off.
  • Provide support for material movement during transition period into automated system.
  • Measure and manage client's shipment to comply within service level agreement (SLA).
  • Workflow analysis and development of new processes to provide better operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining current SOP for team processes.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate root cause on service failure and provide immediate remedial action.
  • Prepare various and ad-hoc reports as required for trending and in-depth analysis.
  • Provide support for Quarter-End and major Customers Financial Year-End.
  • Monitoring damage / lost incidents - working closely with cross functional department for replacement goods, return cargo, credits, claims and CAR.
  • Supporting Client's in coordinating Flight Charter and follow up whenever required.
  • Assisting Client's on RFQ roll-out with respective freight partners.
QualificationsSkills and Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Prior Logistics experience in High-Tech Industry and knowledge in complex Customer Service environment is preferred
  • Vendor management experience
  • Work independent with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Making decision to resolve critical problem
  • Strong in Ms Excel, i.e. knowledge in pivot table, vlookup and using other functions.
  • Good knowledge in Ms Power point.
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Acquire commercial knowledge such as shipping terms and payment terms.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
