Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement welding procedures, including conducting qualification training.
  • Identify and resolve welding-related quality and productivity concerns by collaborating with production teams and customers.
  • Provide technical support to production regarding welding standards and processes.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to verify compliance with customer specifications, industry codes, and quality standards.
  • Supervise and guide technical staff in performing inspections, ensuring adherence to welding procedures, and assessing weld quality.
  • Communicate with clients, engineering teams, and external agencies to exchange technical insights and offer expert advice on welding-related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in welding procedure development, qualification testing, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Possesses International Welding Engineer qualification
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP certification is preferred.
