- Perform credit risk analysis and due diligence on counterparties and propose adequate limits – either for new counterparties or limit renewal
- Understand and assess the risks associated to the transactions entered into with the various counterparts and take these risks into consideration while assessing the limit needs and giving credit recommendation
- Conduct review and analysis of countries and assigned sectors in which the counterparty operates that could have a potential impact on counterparty risks (regulations, markets, main actors, etc)
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on SSEA portfolios to support business decision-making

- Follow-up with traders and execution team on overlimit and overdues cases as part of reporting and monitoring activities
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders from other departments such as Commercial, Execution, Accounting, Finance and IT team
- Act as the key point of contact on any of the Credit Team’s systems-related issues/projects
- Propose/Champion/Participate/Collaborate with colleagues in other Departments in business process improvement initiatives or regional projects to align/streamline processes in line with LDC’s Trade to Cash Principles
- At least 3-5 years of experiences in Credit Risk/Product Control/Management Accounting/Audit
- Working knowledge of Financial Markets, in particular Commodity and Foreign Exchange Markets
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SQL and PowerBI is a plus
- Knowledge of Credit tools (Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, D&B, credit networks) is a plus
- Experience in identifying early warning signals, distressed credits, bankruptcies, and workout scenarios
- Ability to analyse financial statements, ratios, and qualitative information to derive credit opinion
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
- Good business sense with high level vision
- Ability to identify/control weaknesses and implement process improvements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management
- Ability to handle/prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
