As a Student Mentor, you will be working closely with primary school children and make a positive difference in their lives. Your key responsibilities include:
- executing day to day operations in the centre
- ensuring safety and well-being of the children at all times
- providing guidance and supervising children in their school and other academic assignments
- coaching and testing children for their school spellings
- conducting in-house enrichment curriculum with quality
- building a positive and respectful relationship with the children
- fostering good partnerships with parents
- managing and guiding children to develop positive habits and mannerisms
- planning and organising holiday activities or special events for the children during school holidays
- other related duties as assigned by the Centre Supervisor or Manager
Requirements:
- Passionate in reaching out and empowering primary school children
- Ability to manage a group of 10 to 18 children using positive management strategies
- Ability to coach or guide children in their academic assignments
- Enjoys working in a high-energy and dynamic environment
- Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player
- Independent, observant, organised, responsible and takes initiative
- Open to learning new skills and be trained
- Minimum GCE "O" level and above
- Some relevant working experience preferred
