  • Develop and own the Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap, providing guidance for SIT undergraduate students and academic staff in developing their cybersecurity competencies.
  • Lead and oversee a range of cybersecurity enablement programmes to facilitate the growth of information security skills among SIT undergraduate students and academic staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cybersecurity, ensuring the continued relevancy and currency of the enablement programmes and Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap.
  • Cybersecurity Projects
  • Drive the adoption of sound information security practices across all CoDE projects.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, faculty, Professional Officers and other stakeholders to conduct applied research in cybersecurity related technologies.
  • Teaching & Student Mentorship
  • Develop and deliver digital skills literacy related courses or workshops to undergraduate students and staff. This includes development of learning contents and activities, providing consultations on digital skills/technology related queries, and assessment and grading of students' work.
  • Mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects.
  • Any other matters as directed by Director/Deputy Director of CoDE.
Job Requirements
  • A good degree in Computer Science or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.
  • 10+ years of working experience, including at least 5 in cybersecurity related fields.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying secure enterprise software solutions.
  • Good programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Possess strong supervisory and project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure that the project can meet the milestones adhering to the stipulated timeline.
  • Enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs.
