This is a 3-year contract position and may be renewed depending on the Institute’s needs and the individual’s performance.ResponsibilitiesSupport Principal Investigators (PIs) in administrative tasks related to human resource, procurement and finance to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Assist in HR processes, including hiring, appointment of consultants, onboarding and staff development.Provide logistical and administrative support for symposiums, meetings, retreats and other events.Assist in the procurement process, including processing goods receipts and ensuring accurate record-keeping.Handle office operations, including mail distribution and safekeeping of resources.Assist in creating marketing materials for events and research-related activities.Update digital platforms, including corporate website and social media accounts.Perform other job-related duties assigned by the Reporting OfficerRequirementsDiploma in business, events management or a related field.At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a research or academic environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with some knowledge of digital and social media communication tools preferred.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and meticulousness.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently under tight deadlines.Closing DateThe closing date of the advertisement is 5 March 2025.
