  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  • Support Quality Manager and Lab Chemist by providing troubleshooting support to the plant as required.
  • Assist with the execution of laboratory experiments for new raw material evaluations
  • Conducting laboratory experiments for process development projects as required.
  • Responsible for scheduled maintenance and calibration of laboratory process and testing equipment.
  • Develop, implement and maintain laboratory procedures and test methods.
  • Participating in plant ESHQ activities.
  • Evaluate the design and selection of laboratory equipment that meets the required technical specifications.
  • Maintaining inventories of key lab supplies (including consumables, glassware, etc.)
  • Support the Quality Manager and Lab Chemist with the introduction of new and applicable technologies to the laboratory.
  • Work in collaboration with other departments and cross disciplines to resolve problem.
  • Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
  • Collect information to gain a better understanding of routine procedural queries.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or any related science discipline
  • At least 2 years of laboratory experience needed but fresh graduate with relevant experience will be considered
  • Knowledge in Polymer synthesis
  • Knowledge of lubricant testing is beneficial
  • Experience in the use of analytical equipment like GC, HPLC, GPC, DSC desired
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Technical Knowledge (E.g. specialized knowledge required to perform all the required tasks)
  • Willing to work in Jurong Island (company transport provided)
