Business Development Manager (Indonesia)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in acquiring paying partners. This role is essential to expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to forge strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships with potential paying clients that align with our business objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the designated overseas market.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to connect with potential partners and build a strong professional network.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing the partner onboarding process and ensuring satisfaction.
- Proposal Development: Create tailored proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective partners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment in strategy and execution.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor partnership performance and report on key metrics; provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Cultural Adaptability: Navigate and adapt to the cultural and business practices of the overseas market to facilitate successful partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in software, tech or health.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing business partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to relocate for one year, with potential for extension.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
