Job Summary

The Solution Sales Architect will play a critical role in identifying and closing new business opportunities by working closely with the Sales Hunter or independently to meet sales quotas. This position requires a strong technical and consultative sales approach, with the ability to design and present compelling IT solutions that address client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Engagement: Collaborate with the Sales Hunter or operate independently to drive new business and achieve sales targets.
  • Solution Development & Positioning: Design and articulate tailored IT solutions (digital transformation, cloud, enterprise applications, and managed services) that align with client requirements.
  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Lead solution demonstrations, workshops, and deep-dive discussions with enterprise clients.
  • Proposal & Bid Management: Develop high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and solution roadmaps.
  • Client Consulting & Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencing buying decisions.
  • Partner & Vendor Collaboration: Engage with technology partners (Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, cybersecurity vendors) to enhance solution offerings.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 7+ years in solution architecture, pre-sales, or technical consulting within IT services, system integration, or enterprise solutions.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to work alongside sales teams or independently to drive revenue and close deals.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, managed services, and enterprise applications.
  • Consultative Selling: Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for enterprise clients.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and deal-closing skills.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Industry certifications in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise solutions, or cybersecurity.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
