About Department and Purpose of the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team, primarily providing operational support to Retail Pharmacy Operations while also serving as a Marketing Specialist for various Allied Health & Pharmacy clinical areas under the purview of Chief, Allied Health and Pharmacy. This role is crucial in optimizing our retail pharmacy operations and delivering comprehensive marketing support for the clinical Allied Health & Pharmacy Departments. The successful candidate will assist the Manager in assigned projects from inception to completion.

Additionally, as this position is part of the Allied Health & Pharmacy Operation team, candidate should be aware that he/she may be deployed to support different aspects of Allied Health & Pharmacy operation sections whenever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Pharmacy Operations:

  • Collaborate with Retail Pharmacy Enterprise team to enhance inventory management processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and adherence with regulatory standards.
  • Support procurement of OPEX and CAPEX items to ensure the retail grounds are well-equipped and ready to meet customer needs.
  • Work to harmonize workflows across departments, ensuring that processes are streamlined and effective to support Retail Pharmacy operations.
  • Assist in the implementation and support of IT-related and/or Infrastructure-related projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement effective marketing plans tailored to retail pharmacy.
  • Work alongside the Retail Pharmacy Enterprise team to create and execute business plans that align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze retail pharmacy performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Marketing Support in Clinical Areas:

  • Provide strategic marketing assistance to Allied Health & Pharmacy departments, beyond Retail Pharmacy.
  • Assist in the development of promotional materials and patient education materials to support stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the pharmacy and broader market.

Project Management:

  • Support and manage assigned projects - work with stakeholders to implement initiatives, track project milestones, escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • A team player who is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Resourceful and meticulous with strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to interact with different levels of stakeholders.
  • Creative and positive individual with a “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to change and ambiguous situations.
  • Able to use Excel to perform analytics and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Would be a valuable asset if he/she is proficiency in software for designing marketing materials and promotional content.
