We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. Hybrid IT Engineer with 8–10 years of expertise in messaging and collaboration technologies. This role requires advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and leadership capabilities. The Hybrid IT Engineer will manage and support a 24x7 operational environment, focusing on ensuring the health, performance, and optimization of the organization’s messaging and collaboration systems. Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise and Support:
Provide expert-level support for the following technologies:

Mandatory:

  • ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services)
  • Azure MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
  • Microsoft Azure AAD Connect
  • ADFS Health Connect
  • Azure B2C
  • Azure AIP (Azure Information Protection)
  • Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM/MIM)
  • Microsoft Entra ID and Azure
  • Exchange 2016 & Exchange Online
  • WSUS and SCCM

Good to Have:

  • Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage, and Monitor
  • Experience with OneDrive for Business, MS Teams, Skype for Business, and Microsoft OMS
  • Active Directory: Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and replication
  • Certificate Authority
  • Automation tools like Azure Automation, Ansible, or Puppet

Incident and Change Management:

  • Respond to and resolve complex incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Approve or reject change requests and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth implementation.
  • Ensure minimal disruption during change implementations.

Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Configure and maintain alerting and monitoring systems for supported technologies.
  • Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and application health.
  • Respond promptly to alerts and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for system health and performance.

Project Participation:

  • Contribute technical expertise to projects involving the implementation, upgrade, or migration of Microsoft technologies.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams for issue resolution and solution implementation.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for support activities, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on issue status, resolution plans, and project updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies listed above.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of ITIL principles for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Experience in a 24x7 support environment, including on-call rotations.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing alerting and monitoring systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304, AZ-500).
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
  • Automation expertise with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Working Conditions

  • Standard office environment.
  • Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation and support outside standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
