Email Marketing Senior Executive/Manager
Overview:
As the Email Marketing Senior Executive/Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimising email marketing strategies tailored to our audience. Your role will focus on creating targeted, data-driven campaigns to engage both new and existing clients, enhance customer retention, and maximise conversions. Working closely with cross-functional teams (design, content, IT), you’ll ensure that all email marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and contribute to the overall success of our marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies focused on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Design and manage high-performing email campaigns, including education emails, promotional offers, market updates, and trading tips.
- Segment email lists based on trader behaviors, account status, and lifecycle stages (e.g., new users, active traders, dormant accounts) to deliver personalized content.
Email Automation & Workflows
- Set up and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, abandoned cart sequences, post-trade confirmations, and re-engagement campaigns for lapsed clients.
- Optimize email automation to nurture leads, promote new features or products, and maintain ongoing engagement with active clients.
- Ensure seamless data integration between email platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing tools to maintain an efficient workflow.
Campaign Monitoring & Performance Optimisation
- Regularly monitor email performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, ROI) and adjust campaigns for optimal results.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTA buttons, and send times to identify the best-performing variations.
- Analyse customer behavior (e.g., engagement with educational content & sales activity) and adjust email targeting to improve conversions.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with content, design, and IT teams in and outside of the marketing department to produce compelling email assets, ensure brand consistency, and execute campaigns smoothly.
- Coordinate with other marketing channels (e.g., social media, paid ads, SEO) to align email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives such as special promotions, product launches, or webinars.
Segmentation & Personalisation
- Leverage data insights to develop targeted segmentation strategies, ensuring email content is personalised based on trader behavior, market interests, and account type.
- Develop lifecycle email campaigns (e.g., educational content, loyalty programs, product updates) to build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat transactions.
Email Platform & Tool Integration
- Integrate email campaigns with key marketing platforms and CRMs to streamline customer journeys and maximise email effectiveness.
- Utilise advanced features of email platforms to automate processes, improve personalisation, and optimise performance.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in email marketing, particularly within the Fintech or Finance industry. Experience in managing a team, with hands-on execution capabilities.
- Strong experience with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp / Klaviyo / HubSpot / Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Marketo) and email automation tools.
- Ability to monitor, analyse, and interpret email campaign data to drive optimisations and improve performance.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end email marketing campaigns, from strategy development to execution and reporting.
- Expertise in email list segmentation, personalization strategies, and targeted campaigns based on customer data.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with content, design, and IT teams.
- Google Analytics, HubSpot, or email marketing-related certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and how they integrate with email marketing platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of email design (HTML/CSS) or experience working with designers to create compelling email templates. Knowledge in simple coding will be a plus.
