As a key member of the regional team, you will develop and execute strategic communications initiatives to:
  • Elevate the Steelcase brand presence across Asia Pacific
  • Drive market share growth for Steelcase in the office furniture sector
  • Activities include:
  • External communications, event management, community building and management (dealers, and client segments)
  • Enhance prospect and customer segment engagement through innovative external marketing communications programs
  • Provide comprehensive marketing support to dealer networks and direct sales teams
  • Support internal communications
As Manager, you'll: * Content & Communications
  • Build on Steelcase's insight-led positioning using strategically relevant communication channels to support each stage of the buying journey.
  • Localize global and regional communications campaigns, to drive brand salience.
  • Ensure dealer network is supported with effective communications.
  • Ensure external communications are building excess share of voice - track performance
  • Demand Generation & Campaigns
  • Plan and execute brand awareness campaigns to meet growth targets.
  • Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities through targeted email marketing.
  • Liaise with regional performance marketing team to inform advertising and initiatives across social media platforms, Google Ads, programmatic and email campaigns.
  • Internal and executive communications
  • Activate internal communications plan and support executive communications.
  • Events
  • Manage industry and Steelcase events, dealer conferences and off- and online events to build communities.
  • Brand & Creative
  • Defend and oversee the brand position, tone of voice, and visual identity.
  • Lead local creative campaigns, including video and audio production.
  • Contribute to strategies for advertising, positioning, and brand governance.
  • Manage brand awareness efforts tailored to the local market when essential
Education/ExperienceYou'll thrive in this role if you:
  • Have 5-8 years of experience in brand building and communications.
  • Have a marketing or communications qualification (completion of the Mini MBA in Marketing or Mini MBA in Brand Management is highly regarded)
  • Understand brand positioning, distinctiveness, long versus short term brand building tactics
  • Are able to use meaningful metrics and track progress for continuous improvement
  • Are a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in media relations, demand generation, content creation, and digital marketing
  • Possess excellent project management and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Can partner with key stakeholders (internal, dealer network, media and community).
  • Speak English and write fluently.
