About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our team at a container depot in Singapore. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between customers, operations teams, and stakeholders while delivering exceptional service and managing depot-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests related to container storage, repairs, and logistics.

    • Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary.

    • Provide accurate and timely updates to customers regarding container status, movements, and repairs.

  • Coordination and Operations:

    • Liaise with operations, maintenance, and transportation teams to ensure efficient handling and processing of containers.

    • Coordinate container inspections, repairs, and releases with relevant departments.

    • Monitor and manage the movement of containers within the depot to meet customer and operational needs.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare and manage relevant documentation, including invoices, delivery orders, and work orders.

    • Maintain accurate records in the depot management system and ensure compliance with company policies.

    • Generate and analyze reports related to depot operations, customer interactions, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders.

    • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Qualifications:

    • Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

    • Relevant experience in the shipping, logistics, or depot industry is an advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in MS Office and depot management software.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
