Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operational Procurement
  • Perform downstream procurement transactions including Purchase Requisitions conversion, supplier onboarding, goods and services received, resolution of invoice disputes issues between Suppliers, End-Users and Finance Accounts Payable.
  • Perform supplier screening, supply market research and analytical studies to identify and select potential suppliers to be added to the pre-approved supplier list.
Supplier Management
  • Conduct and follow through on Supplier Performance Evaluation jointly with business stakeholders by relationship management.
Stakeholder Management
  • Provide advice and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on all procurement-related matters and ensure they are compliant with Group Procurement Policy.
Compliance Management
  • Ensure all supporting documents are in place prior to creation of Purchase Orders in SAP system.
  • Ensure all Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders meet and comply to Group Procurement Policy and other relevant policies.
Operational Efficiency
  • Support periodic reporting to track historical procurement data for consolidation.
  • Provide improvement plans to streamline procurement processes.
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Required Competencies
  • Degree/ Diploma holder with min 2 years of relevant procurement experience in procurement services
  • Certification and/or work experience in purchasing/procurement
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experience in using SAP S4 HANA module (preferred)
  • Demonstrate ability to manage stress and time to deliver results
