
Fitness Coach
Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of FSAM, the Fitness Coach will work closely with the Head Coaches, Sports Scientist, & Physiotherapists to optimize players' performance from the National and/or other assigned teams. This involves establishing, developing and implementing fitness, strength and conditioning, injury prevention and recovery programs. Successful candidate would develop and implement the Performance Unit processes in consultation with the Head of FSAM.
General Duties & Responsibilities
· Planning and implementation of all physical performance strategies.
· Regular implementation and evaluation of players' and teams' physical conditions (fitness test). Individualize players' fitness programs according to their performance data/status.
· Monitoring Load via available technologies at the FA and others, as well as post-data processing and -evaluation
· Timely communication and submission of relevant performance topics, reports, and programs within the multidisciplinary team (coaches, medical staff, team officials, HOD, etc.)
· Supervision of all games, camps, and all other engagements of the respective team including overseas trip
· Periodically, delivering other duties such as education workshops on fitness related matters, GS/FAS, duties, etc.
Qualifications
· Sport Science Degree
· 5+ years of prior experience as a football fitness coach
· Preferably, high-performance related education (CSCS, ASCA, EXOS, UKSCA, etc.)
· Preferably, football-related education (AFC Fitness, UEFA Fitness, Coaching License, etc.)
· Preferably, experience in handling and evaluating testing and training data.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
