Position Overview: The Retail Operations and Business Development Assistant Manager will oversee daily retail operations, manage relationships with retail partners, and drive business growth through strategic initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for retail excellence and a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to retail partners.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement strategies to optimize stock turnover.
- Develop and execute visual merchandising plans to enhance brand presence and customer experience in retail stores.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure efficient distribution and delivery processes.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (retail and online retail partners) to expand the company's market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential retail partners.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns to drive sales
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of retail associates and support staff.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail operations and business development, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding market presence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
