Job Title: Special Needs Teacher Assistant (SNTA)

Contract Period: 3 March 2025 - 23 October 2025

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:30 am to 5 pm (including 1-hour lunch break)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teacher Assistant (SNTA) to join our secondary school team. The SNTA will support students with special educational needs (SEN) and help create an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Intervention Work:
Conduct one-on-one or small group sessions to develop social, communication, and study skills.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
In-Class Observation:
Collaborate with teachers to observe and support students with SEN.
Record observations and provide feedback to teachers.
SEN-Based School Programmes:
Assist in planning and running after-school programs for students with SEN.
Help with staff training programs on managing SEN students.
Documentation and Administrative Support:
Document interventions and observations.
Manage administrative tasks and attend meetings with the SEN team.

Qualifications:

Diploma in a relevant special needs area.
At least 2 years of experience working with students with special needs in a school setting.
Additional teaching credentials are a plus.
