This is a full-time 12 months contract role. The position is shift based (morning and evening shift) and may be required to cover weekends as per production schedule.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and repairing machinery/equipment faults in the production areas. Familiar with rotary filling machinery, liquid processing equipment and powder filling machine.
Understanding of pneumatic system and with electrical control knowledge.
Atex Zone basic knowledge.
Support automation engineer in calibrations and control trouble shooting as required.
Analysis and monitoring of wastage, yield , quality & EHS issues in production areas, and completing remedial actions.
Basic knowledge for Utility equipment functionality and able to work together with vendor with any maintenance activity or troubleshooting.
Planned and reactive maintenance activities for general equipment. Also carry out the PMs for the assigned area.
Completing plant / process development projects within the production areas as required (e.g. line or equipment optimization).
Ensure compliance with company and legislative Health and Safety, quality & housekeeping procedures.
Monitoring the performance of plant equipment and recommending appropriate modifications. Always capable to provide innovative idea on any improvement project.
Maintaining and updating of machine records through the use of a maintenance system SAP. Update and maintain daily technician log sheet, temporary repairs log sheet and assigned work orders.
Maintenance of a safe operating environment and carry out all maintenance activities in compliance with Site Policies and procedures. Understand of EHS requirements like Machine Guarding , LOTO , Permit to Work , Work at height, Hot work, Ex
Basic understanding of maintenance terms and techniques like preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance (thermography, vibration monitoring etc), Corrective maintenance.
