Senior Retail Assisstant $ 2400 - $ 2800 Islandwide

Job Scope:



Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints.
Assist customers with locating products and offering product recommendations.

Sales & Merchandising:
Ensure shelves are stocked, tidy, and organized.
Monitor product displays and promotional setups.
Manage inventory levels and ensure products are properly labeled and priced.

Supervisory Tasks:
Oversee and guide junior retail assistants.
Delegate tasks and ensure team members complete their duties efficiently.
Assist with training new staff on procedures and customer service standards.

Cashiering:
Operate the cash register and handle payments.
Process refunds and exchanges when necessary.
Ensure accuracy in transactions and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.

Stock Management:
Receive, unpack, and arrange stock deliveries.
Conduct stock checks and report discrepancies.
Ensure stock rotation to prevent expired products on shelves.

Store Operations:
Open and close the store when required.
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
Comply with safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in implementing promotional activities and seasonal sales.
Handle minor administrative work like preparing shift schedules (if required).
Report issues like faulty equipment or damaged stock to the manager.

Requirement

At least 3-5 years related experience in Senior Role.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
