  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Summary:

The School Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the school building and grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. This includes classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, library, and other designated areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty trash receptacles; clean and sanitize desks, tables, and other surfaces; clean whiteboards/chalkboards; dust furniture and fixtures; clean windows and window sills.

  • Restroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and urinals; replenish soap, paper towels, and other supplies; empty trash receptacles; mop floors; clean mirrors and other surfaces.

  • Hallway Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean and sanitize water fountains; empty trash receptacles; clean and polish handrails and other surfaces.

  • Library Cleaning: Vacuum or sweep floors; dust shelves and furniture; empty trash receptacles.

  • Office Cleaning: Vacuum or sweep floors; empty trash receptacles; clean and sanitize desks and other surfaces.

  • Grounds Cleaning: Pick up litter; sweep walkways and entrances; empty trash receptacles outside; assist with snow removal (if applicable).

  • Trash Removal: Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the school and dispose of waste properly.

  • Stocking Supplies: Replenish cleaning supplies (soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc.) and notify supervisor when supplies are low.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Use and maintain cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, mops, floor scrubbers, etc.) in good working order. Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

  • Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Adhere to all school policies and procedures.

  • Security: Maintain the security of the building by locking doors and windows when leaving areas. Report any suspicious activity to the supervisor.

  • Other Duties: Perform other related cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor
