  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Engine Operation:

  • Operate and monitor the vessel’s main and auxiliary engines.
  • Ensure optimal performance of engines during operations, adjusting as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety.
  • Start, stop, and regulate engines according to the operational requirements.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform routine maintenance on engines, generators, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, conducting repairs as needed.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols related to engine operation and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of engine room and mechanical systems.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.

Fuel Management:

  • Monitor fuel consumption and ensure efficient fuel usage.
  • Manage fuel inventories and conduct fuel transfers when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel usage and report discrepancies.

Operational Support:

  • Assist with the operation of other vessel systems, such as steering, navigation, and mooring.
  • Support the deck crew with general vessel operations when required.
  • Communicate effectively with the Captain and other crew members regarding engine status and operational needs.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate logs of engine performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
  • Prepare and submit reports on engine conditions, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies regarding documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Shift system
  • Weekend availability

License/Certification:
