  • Update the ship’s log as required by maritime regulations and company policies.

Crew Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with the entire crew to ensure smooth and efficient vessel operations.
  • Participate in crew meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional maritime training or certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a maritime role, especially in navigation or deck operations, is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: Valid maritime certifications as required by local and international regulations (e.g., STCW certification).
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of navigation principles and maritime safety.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is primarily performed on board vessels, often in varying weather conditions.
  • Requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and performing manual tasks.
