Early Intervention Teacher
Our well-established mainstream preschool is seeking an Early Intervention Teacher to join our team.
Role & Responsibilities
The Early Intervention Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences that support student development through the effective implementation of the curriculum, teaching strategies, and classroom management techniques. This role involves guiding the teaching team, collaborating with families, allied professionals, and other stakeholders, engaging in continuous professional growth, and striving to innovate and improve teaching and learning practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Student Learning & Development
o Assess and evaluate student needs to develop tailored learning goals and outcomes, utilizing appropriate instructional strategies and accommodations.
o Design and create effective lesson plans, learning resources, and classroom environments.
o Use evidence-based, differentiated teaching methods to engage students both individually and in team settings.
o Manage the classroom environment proactively to promote motivation, positive behavior, and optimal learning opportunities.
o Establish physically, emotionally, and socially safe relationships and environments to foster care and enhance student learning.
o Continuously monitor, assess, document, and report on each student's progress and achievements.
Job Holder Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an early intervention setting.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying students and equipment, as well as cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities.
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm
Off: Saturday, Sunday
PH & Additional holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,200.00 per month
