We are looking for a Storeman / Warehouse Assistant to support our ISP installation operations. This role involves managing stock movement, handling service reports, updating inventory records, and ensuring that all materials and equipment required for installations are properly accounted for. Occasionally, you may also be required to drive the company van for stock pickups and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming ISP installation materials (e.g., fiber optic cables, routers, network devices, tools).
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to facilitate easy access for installation teams.
  • Prepare and issue equipment to technicians, ensuring all items are documented.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Manage stock replenishment and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle and verify service reports, ensuring serial numbers of devices match the documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the system, updating stock movements in real time.
  • Process delivery orders, invoices, and other stock-related paperwork.
  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure they have the necessary materials for each project.

Logistics & Transport:

  • Occasionally drive the company van to pick up or deliver installation materials to and from the warehouse and project sites.
  • Ensure proper handling and transportation of equipment to prevent damage.
  • Assist in organizing deliveries to different installation locations based on project schedules.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in warehouse/store management, logistics, or administrative roles (preferably in the ISP or telecommunications industry).
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software or Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and support installation teams effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license (for transport duties).
  • Physically fit to handle warehouse-related tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
